Catherine Rigaud founded her own company in 1993, after 11 years with the Government of Canada, translating, revising and interpreting mostly for the Department of Justice.
Catherine is a certified legal translator with the Translation Bureau within the Government of Canada. She holds two Masters of Art, in English (University of Caen, France) and Comparative Literature (Carleton University, Ottawa).
Her team members are experienced translators who have all been practicing for more than 20 years, some for 30 years. All translate into their native languages, assuring accuracy and cultural authenticity. They are accredited or certified by renowned professional organizations such as ATA (American Translators Association), CTTIC (Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council), ATIO (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario) etc. Many of our translators hold LL.B.’s, M.A.’s or M.Sc.’s as well as language degrees.
